Senior Acquisition/Procurement Specialist
Candidate has demonstrated information technology and complex acquisition and financial support to Government program managers. Individual must be an expert with all acquisition life-cycle activities (cradle-to-grave). Delivers strategic sourcing, acquisition planning, and acquisition counsel as well as develop acquisition pre-award documentation, e.g., Performance Work Statements, Quality Assurance Surveillance Plans, Acquisition Plans, Independent Government Cost Estimates, Source Selection Plans, and Market Research Reports. Individual will elicit requirements from Government program managers via interviews, focus-groups, and document analysis. Requirements gathering will conclude with thorough, compliant, and actionable acquisition (procurement) packages. Resolves complex acquisition management problems and delivers acquisition sourcing strategies for software requirements and provides business advice to Government customers. Qualifications include 10-15 years experience in Federal or DoD Acquisition and Program Management. At least 5 years or more was supporting software systems acquisition including understanding and demonstrated experience with Capitol Planning Investment Control methods, developing alternatives of analysis, business cases, and acquisition strategies. Individual will have a Master’s Degree in business or related discipline, e.g., Contracts, Finance, or Law. Individual must be a US citizen and able to obtain Federal clearance.
Mid-Level Procurement/Acquisition Specialists
Candidate has demonstrated acquisition support to Government program managers or contracting officers. Individual must be fluent with all acquisition life-cycle activities (cradle-to-grave). Delivers acquisition planning and acquisition counsel as well as develop acquisition pre-award documentation, e.g., Performance Work Statements, Quality Assurance Surveillance Plans, Acquisitions Plans, Independent Government Cost Estimates, Source Selection Plans, and Market Research Reports. Individual will elicit requirements from Government program managers via interviews, focus-groups, and document analysis and develop thorough, compliant, and actionable acquisition (procurement) packages. Individual has working knowledge of Federal Acquisition Regulation and excellent oral and written communication skills. Qualifications include 5-8 years Federal experience in Federal or DoD Acquisition or Program Management. Individual will hold a BA/BS degree in Business Administration or a related business discipline or 1-3 years Federal experience with a Master's Degree. Individual must be a US citizen and able to obtain Federal clearance.
Cost and Pricing Specialist
Candidate will be responsible for coordinating and developing timely, accurate, and compliant completion of pricing and cost volume activities for new and on-contract efforts, e.g., task orders. Preparation of compliant basis of estimates and cost and pricing data in support of Government bids and contract negotiations. Develops business case activity that facilitates the most competitive price submission while provideing a blueprint for operating within expected financial goals. Requires a strong background in analysis and strategic modeling. Prepare professional milestone briefs and other executive presentations as required to support the executive approval process for price submission. Demonstrate an extremely high level of flexibility with your own schedule to support multiple dynamic and short-turn proposal deadlines. Candidate will have 5 years pricing experience and a BA/BS degree in business or finance and have high proficiency in price modeling and data analysis in MS Excel. Strong interpersonal and communication skills and experience using MS Project for resource planning.
Federal Acquisition Instructors
Candidate will provide student-focused, adult-learning, competency-based, live classroom instruction in federal acquisition and contracting subjects to federal contracting and program/technical personnel. Travel may be required. Ability to present 2, 3, and/or 5 day courses to groups of up to 30 students; apply principles of adult learning modalites in course presentations; deliver courses in accordance with instructor guide, student materials and adhere to course schedules. Provide feedback on materials to curriculum development staff. Deliver client specific versions of course in group on-site presentations. Candidates will have a BA/BS degree or an advanced degree is preferred. Candidates shall have completed a minimum of 24 semester hours in any combination of the following fields: accounting, businesss, finance, law, contracts, economics or organization and management. At least 10 years of recent experiece in a federal contracting environment, successfully delivering DAWIA or FAC-C/COR classes. Additionally, having earned a DAWIA or FAC-C Level III Certification in Contracting or having held an unlimited contracting officers warrant is desirable.
Candidate will work on gMg's Federal Government and commercial contracts. Responsibilities will include: contract financial analysis, reporting and tracking, contract and subcontract administration, preparing and ensuring the quality of Government client deliverables, ensuring contract compliance, submitting approval requests, notifications, and reports to clients, and serve as the secondary Government point of contact with Government Contracting Officers and their Representatives. Occasional technical writing and pricing proposal support is also required. Qualified candidates must have a BA/BS degree plus 5 years related experience with 3 years experience managing multiple Government contracts and Task Order Management skills. Ability to effectively communicate orally and in writing is required. An understanding of confidentiality of proprietary information is also required.
Bid Proposal Manager
Lead proposal efforts to deliver acquisition and program management solutions to the Federal Government. Responsibilities include working with all members of the gMg team and subcontractors to develop winning and innovative proposals to include responses to RFIs/RFQs/RFPs/TOs. Candidate has demonstrated background that enables them to develop win themes and technical disciminators for inclusion into proposals. Demonstrated ability to think strategically about the mission and technical challenges facing the Government customer. Ability to build and convey compleling value propositions in a written context. The candidate shall be familiar with Government acquisition guidelines and experience with developing proposal compliant matrix. Serve as the key member of the gMg team leading proposal responses; execute the proposal response plan while working with key internal stakeholders, validate proposal response requirements and ensure proposal compliance. Serves and acts as the primary interface for proposal responses. Candidate wil have 5 years experience and a BA/BS degree in business or related discipline. Excellent writing skills for both technical and anlytical as well ability to develop appropriate thematic graphuics using standard desktop tools are critical. Customer-fcoused and self-motiated with a great sense of urgency and follow through. Excellent communicator who can quickly earn the respect of the gMg team, subcontractors, and Government customers.
